One brand, one site. Issimo's portal strategy unified Sanyo's online brand.
With over 10 years working together, the Issimo team continues to maintain and expand on the redesign of the Sanyo site. Our initial endeavor included unifying over 13 sub-sites into one website portal. Design and creative treatments were focused on redefining Sanyo's online brand by highlighting the company's endeavors as worldwide leader in environmental and lifestyle products for home and business.
Our primary strategy was to organize Sanyo's business groups into three content silos: Consumer, Commercial and Services. Each section of the site has subtle design and functionality differences aimed at marketing to those customer types, while meeting the communication needs of the various Sanyo product managers.
Issimo also redesigned the Sanyo Store which was integrated with Sanyo's SAP product management system. Our custom Cart solution for the Sanyo Store was developed in .NET which was integrated with our custom .NET CMS.
Our CMS solution allowed Sanyo team members to perform various functions such as, simple cut and paste content updates, creation of campaign-based microsites, ecommerce management, as well as performing email marketing to customers.
The site has been a massive success and we are proud to be in our 11th year of working closely with Sanyo.
